What about buying a larger serving-sized bag, and using reusable snack bags? This way, you’ll be able to take them on the go, and not worry about where to throw out the bag when you’re done.
• Repurpose! Old shoe boxes make a great place for saving old papers and mementos. Why not keep a few in the closet? They stack up nicely, and can be labeled depending on what’s inside. What about old shirts and towels? Use them as rags! If you don't use them anymore, there’s no reason not to keep them around to clean up a mess you wouldn’t clean with brand new towels.
• Composting Is Key. Turn your old scraps into rich soil! By doing this you’re not only helping your own outdoor space, but the environment as well. Think about how easy it’ll be to use that soil to fertilize plants instead of running to the hardware store to grab a bag.
