Cleaners To Get Rid Of At Home

Keeping your home clean is something everyone wants to do, some people do, and a lot of
people should do. Depending on the surface and the intricacy in which you’re looking to
get involved in, there are a ton of tactics and cleaners that you can use to transform your
home into the clean oasis you’ve come to know and love. On the flip side, there are tons
of these so-called ‘great’ cleaning products that do more harm to the environment than they
do good. We’ve compiled a few below to give you an idea of ones you can think of avoiding
the next time you’re in the market for a set.

Aerosol

While it might be convenient to not have to squeeze a trigger to get your cleaning product
onto the floor or counter, aerosol can actually harm the environment, as well as your body.
It’s important to know that these cans of compressed cleaners also have a ton of additives
that can eventually be ingested by the body and cause damage. In order to prevent this
from happening, make sure to grab the alternative cleaner that uses no aerosol and is
all-natural.

Artificial Fragrances

Just like anything that isn’t natural, artificial fragrances can be harmful to your body when
ingested, and sometimes aren’t worth the savings in money. These fresheners emit
chemicals into the air designed to smell like your favorite flower or linen sheet, however
can also contain toxic chemicals that can do harm to you, your family, and anything else
that lives within your home.

Ammonia

While it might be one of the strongest cleaners there is, ammonia is one of the most toxic!
Its strong odor and ability to clear a nasal passage is usually a turnoff for many, but some
people still use it! Should you want to use this chemical for cleaning purposes, make sure
you heavily dilute it with water in order to reduce the chances that it harms your room, body,
or anyone else who may come in contact with it.
