The Ins And Outs Of City Carting

Waste management is a beautiful thing -- one moment you’re wheeling a can full of recyclables to the corner and the next, bringing it back into the yard. It’s cool when a plan comes together like this and works, however we’re missing something in the middle of the story -- where the waste goes, and who takes it away. In this particular story, City Carting is at the center of the story, providing a number of different services to those looking to rid their home of waste without any hassle.

The journey starts where any other would, by placing your garbage outside for pickup. From here, it anxiously awaits pickup by one of the many City Carting trucks on the route for the day. Once this has been completed, the truck will venture off to other homes, collecting similar waste before it enters the City Carting facility.

From here, and depending on what type of waste it is, it will then go through a sorting process. For recyclables, this means that it goes through a system in which everything becomes sorted properly, before being totally recycled. Our single stream recycling center is one of the biggest around and plays a huge role in how the process is carried out.

When you’re finished with your typical waste system, we can also provide roll-off containers for those big projects and home remodels. One will be dropped off and picked back up once you’re finished, leaving you with no other job than to fill it up!

We’re proud to serve over 11,000 independant clients throughout the areas we serve -- our best services come in the form of being on-time and effective at what we do.

Providing homes and businesses with effective waste management is a service that City Carting & Recycling has been doing for over 35 years.
